We hope that You, your family and your colleagues are doing well and in good health.

Following an assessment of the current state of emergency, hopefully to be ended soon, as well as circumstances and risks revolving around COVID-19 pandemics, we are pleased to inform you that preparations for the 1st Congress of the International Association of Preventive Pediatrics – IAPP, which should take place from 20th to 22nd November 2020, are scheduled to go ahead, as planned.

The safety and welfare of our lecturers and participants, as well as support of all involved in the organization is our top priority.

Hence, the International Association for Preventive Pediatrics will act accordingly and continue to follow guidance and measures issued by government and its expert agencies. And will regularly inform participants about all relevant aspects.

We are pleased to inform you that our teams are working on all aspects of the Congress organization at full capacity, closely following the COVID-19 pandemics and all developments related to it.

In line with our overall approach, within the frame of the Congress’ general topics, we will strive to organize high quality scientific content presented it in a most appropriate and attractive format. This will include plenary lectures, panels, round tables, workshops, and other formats. In order to ensure proper dynamics of scientific exchange and interaction with participants, floor to discuss most challenging topics of the day will be provided.

With the whole new world of online possibilities, which our teams are currently exploring, we would be open for different options; to organize standard, in person, Congress, to realize an Online Event, using Online Conference platforms, and to any other option that combines the two, all mentioned in order to ensure best experience for all involved parties.

Whatever approach will be pursued, it should aim to provide a safe opportunity for both lecturers and all participants to communicate and exchange knowledge with large audiences.

Being aware of the immense challenge of preparing and running Congress of this size at this time of uncertainty poses, we are at the same time fully committed to the success of this pioneering event, the 1st Congress of the IAPP.

We will keep you updated on the latest developments about Congress, so you can expect us to be in touch with you in the coming weeks.
